Nanpantan Hall Nurture Centre is owned and run by Serenity Education and we are specialists in our field. We recognise that children with Autism and Social, Emotional, Mental Health Needs require a different approach to teaching and learning; a way that is personalised and relevant to them. 

We know that when students are happy, confident and equipped to overcome the day-today challenges of life, they thrive academically. We are proud to take a different approach to education and stand by our principles by prioritising student's holistic development over academic over pressure to pass tests. 
The Nurture Centre takes a holistic approach to learning that wraps therapeutic care and educational support around the individual needs of each student. Within small classes or through one-to-one support, students have the space and support they need to progress at their own pace.

With access to a variety of therapists, students are well supported in all aspects of their social, emotional and academic development. The Nurture Centre is committed to working in close partnership with families, so together we can nurture our students abilities and support them to achieve their potential.​

We aspire to 'Lay the Foundations for Success' by nurturing each students self-awareness and enthusiasm for learning and developing their abilities to self-regulate their thoughts, feelings and emotions so that they can build positive relationships and communicate effectively with the world around them.

Aims

With a clear focus on holistic development the Nurture Centre looks to celebrate a student’s abilities and support them to overcome challenges and barriers that may prevent them from accessing learning in a traditional way.  

The Nurture Centre has one core aim for its students which is to prepare them to be:

Objectives

In order to achieve its aim the centre has four main objectives;
1. To develop each student’s self-awareness and enthusiasm for learning. 

2. To develop each student's ability to self-regulate their thoughts, feelings and emotions. 

3. To develop each student's understanding of the world around them.

4. To develop each student's ability to communicate effectively with the wider world and foster positive relationships.

Our Local Offer

What is a Local Offer

From 1 September 2014 the Children and Families Act requires all local authorities to publish and maintain a ‘local offer’. A local offer is a wide range of information about all the support and facilities which families can expect to find in their area for children and young people who have special educational needs (SEN) and disabilities.
