Covid-19 Advice

We are all now living with Covid-19 as part of everyday life.

The team at Nanpantan Hall Nurture Centre are personally aware of the impact that Covid-19 has had on every aspect of the Nurture Centre Community. As we all learn to live with Covid-19 as part of everyday life would like to reassure all parents, carers and visitors that the team continue to do everything that they can to keep the Nurture Centre safe and open to all of our pupils.

There is no longer a legal requirement for anyone who has Covid-19 to self-isolate, and all Government advice to schools has been withdrawn (May 2022)

Despite the lack of advice, the Directors are continuing to monitor the local situation and will respond accordingly

 in line with professional Health and Safety Advice and guidance.

In general, the latest advice is to remain vigilant and keep pupils away from school if they are unwell.

If in doubt, please contact the school office and speak to one of the Directors for clarification.

Keeping your Child Safe Online

 At the Nanpantan Hall Nurture Centre we take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously and this includes online safety.

On this page you will find our E-Safety Policy, plus advice and resources to help you and your child navigate the virtual world safely.

We aim to provide our pupils with the skills, knowledge and understanding to keep themselves safe online within the Nurture Centre environment and beyond, now and in the future.

The Nurture Centre recognises that online activity brings with it potential risks including accessing inappropriate content, predation and grooming, bullying and threats, identity theft, financial harm
and corruption or misuse of data. Our primary aim with regard to online safety is to give our pupils the ability to stay safe online, both inside the Nurture Centre and beyond. We aim to do this through education, embedding online safety in every aspect of the curriculum and working with parents/carers, siblings and others to promote safe use of technology.

The Directors, as the Designated Leads for Safeguarding, are responsible for ensuring the safety (including online safety) of members of the Nurture Centre community.

Day to day responsibility for online safety is delegated to the Online Safety Coordinator :

Lisa Furborough.

We all struggle to keep up with our children and their activities online but there is lots of information to help you. Vodafone have an excellent parent information site which can be accessed by clicking their logo below;
